[Kaede Hoshi]

_____Another class, another pile of homework, another day half finished for the often labeled bookworm of general studies student Kaede. Her arms wrapped around her class books, paperwork, and extra reading material to keep herself busy while others went about socializing and the sort. Sure she would enjoy talking to someone else, the thought never stopped popping in her head as she adjusted her tinted glasses and kept walking. _____But she also knew all too well what comes from her talking with people. She was the geek, the crazy student with all A's and people abused those sort of kids or bullied them. Why would she poke her head out and risk such things when social skill was not a required class assignment? Sighing lightly as she turned around and pushed a set of double doors open with her back before looking around the empty library and exhaling. "Sometimes I feel this is the only place I can relax..." _____Setting her pile of books and papers down Kaede took her seat and began going over all the work she had to get finished. Even without tossing herself out there to get bullied people in her group sometimes just left their work on her desk and while she could ignore it she never did. Taking the pen from behind her ear she began filling everything out in silence. Her mind drifting back to her own little world as she breezed past the class work.

[Kai]

Adrenaline and pure excitement were all Kai could feel. That and a little bit of panic. But that's what made it fun. However she knew that her entertainment wouldn't last much longer if she didn't find some place to hide or blend in. Her eyes would scan each room as she ran down the hallway. Searching for something that might give her one of the two things she was looking for. "Nope... Not that one.... Not that one either.." She'd mutter to herself as she passed each room, until she saw a girl sitting by her lonesome in the library studying.

Skidding to a halt, Kai would shout "Perfect!" as she'd burst into the library doors, and quickly began taking off her black sweatshirt. Her shirt underneath dragging with it revealing a bit of her stomach before it fell back down.  She'd then quickly fold up the sweatshirt and put it into her bag as she began to talking to the girl, and in the same motion sitting a crossed from her at the table. "Already getting started on today's homework are you?" She'd say in a calm voice as if she'd known the girl for years, positioning herself at the table so she could watch the hallway outside of the window.  "What problem did you get too?" She'd say quickly reading over the girls book telling it was a math book and pulling out one of her own. Luckily it appeared they had the same class, though Kai didn't particularly remember such a girl in her class. But that could easily be explained away as either Kai simply hadn't payed attention to her class mates, or they had the same class but at different times. Either way she sat down, and opened up her book, and her notebook, just as she predicted They stormed into the room and searched around. Luckily Kai was all set up with her bag already resting around the chair she was sitting in, and she looked as if she had been there for a bit, even if they had just stormed in directly after she did. Though she needed to conceal the devilish grin she was wearing.

As the 4 notable toned and athletic boys, notable as the top students from the 2nd year hero course, wandered over to the table, Kai's face notable softened from the trickster-esq grin she was wearing before, to the point she looked normal. The boys would approach the table, looking both winded and fuming mad. "Either of you two pip-squeaks see a girl wearing a sweatshirt and with a two flags run through here?" A look of surprise would fall over Kai's face, as she would reply in a softer tone than she had spoken before "A girl with flags?" Kai would say sounding confused. "I can't say we have. We've just been here studying." She'd say before pausing to think. "Though now that you mention it, I did see someone run past a few second before you got here." She'd say before continuing "It looked like she heading towards the general direction of Field C, but that's just a guess on my end." They bought it hook line and sinker. As they simply turned around and grumbled heading off towards the direction of field C. Kai would stand up slightly pushing off the table before and watching them go. And once they were finally out of site, Kai would burst into laughter to the point she was almost crying. It'd take her a few second before she'd reign herself in "Thanks for doing your part." Kai would say to the girl in front of her, even if she hadn't said anything.

_____Kaede would have prefered not to be included in the little game another student seemed to be pulling on older kids. She had her own work to finish as she adjusted her glasses slightly while the girl rushed to her seat and simply tried to focus more on her paperwork. Eyes scanning her problems and moving along slowly as she ignored the girl’s voice and did her best to ignore that of the older students who came in not long after. Other’s always did make Kaede wonder what caused them to act as such, stirring trouble with the older kids was bound to bite you later. This however was only until said older student chose to make a comment about height. _____Sure one could easily also interpret simple as referring to those in earlier year or more that both chose to be general study for some reason or another. A slow exhale was seemingly all Kaede did as the older students turned away, well three of them managed such. Eyes flickering gold behind her glasses as Kaede vanished for all of a split second to tie the speaker of the insult together before returning to her seat and adjust her glasses as he went down. A small smirk crossing the edge of her mouth as she reached to catch one of her papers that would give away her action. _____Her revenge, soon fixed as the fourth rejoined the group and Kaede struck an extra subtle finishing touch. Taped to his back a white paper with a ‘kick me, im naughty.’ in bold golden marker. Adjusting her glasses once more as she wrote in another problem and kept to herself as her eyes returned to normal. While partly a forgotten though to hide her golden marker as it sat beside her book pile just slightly hidden from view as she looked up to the student with a sigh. “Next time, do try not to drag me into your games please… I’d prefer to keep myself out of any crosshairs…” _____With a dull tone to her voice Kaede moved her gaze back to her math and resumed her work without much interest in what or why this girl was there. Her only goal was to pass school, not make friends or get into trouble that would leave a mark on her record. A slow motion of her hand as Kaede remembered to hide her marker should it still be where she left it and hopefully unnoticed to avoid reason for further discussion. God forbidding to be asked her quirk...
